New Website COMING SOON!

To keep you entertained in the meantime... A team video from the last round of the Pearce race series.

Commencal Updates.

We got our first "in the flesh" look at the Atherton World Cup limited edition Supreme DH on Thursday. It comes with full Shimano Saint kit, factory DT Swiss White EX1750 wheels, Fox 40's and Sunline finishing kit. The price hasnt been finalised yet, but its apparently going to be £5000-£5300, so almost exactly the same price as the regular team bike. A frame only option will also be available, at the same price as the rgular VIP frame, £1999.99. Numbers will be extremely limited, so get you order in now!

Adam got chatting to Commencal product developer Nico Menard who gave us some glimpses in to whats in store for Commencal in 2010.

There will be a Carbon version of the Meta 5.5, with a target frame weight of 2.5 kg (5.5lbs) price will be around £2000 for frame only, and there will be a top specced bike. There will also be a Carbon mainframe Alu swingarm 5.5, as well as the conventional Alu models.

In addition the disc mount on the frame has been repositioned to reduce any effects on the suspension - this is a direct port over of the technology from the supreme DH bike.

There will also be a carbon fronted version of the Super 4 - this will retain an aluminium back end for strength, and will weigh 2.2 kg (4.84 kg).

The furious will be phased out in the next year or so. There will be a new 5" do everything slopestyle bike added to the range - sounds a bit like a Corsair Konig to me...

There will only be one Supreme Mini/Supreme Racing next year, that will sit between the two models on offer this year, but with a really good spec. It'll be a better colour than this years offerings too.

A new Cromo MaxMax is going to be added to the range - spanish BB, cromo bars, its all about being a rock solid DJ bike. Prices are expected to be a little more than the Alu model.

There will be 2 new Ti frames - a super short DJ one for single speed, again with a spanish bb, and a 4x one, just like Dan Athertons. Again these are going to be limited edition releases. No price as yet, but £1700+ seems very likely.

Theres gonna be a 5" forked agressive do anything hardtail back in the range, much like the older 05 absolutes.

Because of this, the regular hardtails will be reworked into more of a straight up xc type bike.

And lastly, Commencal will be offering Frame Kits complete with forks and finishing kit on Supreme, Supreme DH, Meta 6 and Meta 5.5 models. Price and specification to be confirmed.

Thats all for now, I'll add more if my poor disturbed brain remembers....

We're doing an 09 Commencal Supreme DH, packaged with a load of goodies, including Maxxis Wetscreams, E13 LightGuide and 661 body armour and lid for the giveaway price of only £2999.99, plus you get free race support at all the events our team is attending this summer, which is pretty much all of them!

See the ONLINE SHOP for details!

In other news...

Finally the Corsair range, including the highly anticipated CROWN DH rig should be with us instore by the end of January. Its been a long wait, but we believe the end product will be worth it! Corsair have been getting huge reviews in all the magazines recently, it looks like they are definitley going to be the "must have" ride this year. - Order now to avoid disappointment!

But hold on!! Theres lots of other exciting stuff on here too, from the horror of the Team page, through the excitement of the pics and videos section to the Cyber-Social interaction of the forum where you'll be able to gab about bikes with other, like minded individuals**.

*Or lady/marsupial/sentient pebble - we here at WHC uphold a stringent regime of non sexism/speciesism/pebblism. Apart from those damn dirty Koalas. They get everything they deserve.

**I say like minded individuals, curently barely sane socially inept degenerates might be a better description.
